Victor Hugo once called exile
"the long dream of home" - a
turn of phrase that rings true
to me and explains the shared
aesthetic of the work that most
intrigues me... movies, poetry,
and literature that exist outside
the margins, celebrate the liminal
and are not afraid to consider
the soft or seedy underbelly of
people, places and things.
